The Flash is finally moving foward

Variety is reporting that Warner Brothers has hired  Green Lantern scribes Marc Guggenheim and Michael Green to write “The Flash” for director Greg Berlanti.

While nothing has been confirmed on the topic by Warner Brothers, it is worth noting that this property has been rumored in production since 2005, and once it was rumored to be involving David Goyer (writer for Batman Begins, and the stories for The Dark Knight, and The Dark Knight Rises) and staring Ryan Reynolds, with a story that was quoted being bacilly “the movie Seven, but with a superhero”. While those rumors seemed to have come and gone, it seems WB is finally pushing forward with the character.
